Keith and I have been married for 43 years. In that time I've watched him help start up a manufacturing plant in Elizabethtown, raise four children on his family's farm and serve as a church elder for more than 20 years. We make decisions as equals. Raising our kids on that farm was a choice we made together, and today we run our certified organic hay farm side by side. That is how he leads: he listens first, then he acts.

Keith spent 27 years in the automotive industry, working on three continents. That experience puts him at the head of the table as Ford moves forward with its $2 billion, 2,100-job reinvestment in Glendale.

Hardin County needs a leader who can hold his own with outside interests, so we are protected against overreach and never left without a seat at the table.

Keith can do this. He's done it already. Under his leadership, the county cut its property tax rate, grew its reserves by 70% and cut ambulance response times in western Hardin County by about half.

His family roots in farming and small business give him practical knowledge for managing growth in one of Kentucky's top agricultural counties. As an eighth-generation Hardin County farmer, he has plowed the fields himself. He has also worked with the Hardin County Planning and Development Commission and fellow judge-executives to protect our prime farmland from out-of-state special interests that want it for industrial solar and data centers.

And truly, no other candidate in this race brings Keith's experience, integrity and skill set.

This race is about the future of Hardin County. When I say Hardin County, I mean your community, your workplace and your loved ones.

Early voting runs Oct. 29-31. On Tuesday, Nov. 3, please vote for my husband, Keith Taul, for Hardin County Judge-Executive.
