ELIZABETHTOWN, KY – After announcing his intent to seek re-election back in May with family and supporters present, Hardin County Judge Executive Keith Taul made it official today, filing his paperwork today at the Hardin County Clerk’s office for the 2026 election.
Taul was accompanied by his wife, Megan Taul, and brother, David Taul, who signed as witnesses. Also present were his mother, JoAnn Taul, his son Phil Taul, Campaign Treasurer Laura LaRue, and supporter and friend Julia DuPlessis.
“With faith, collaboration and persistence, we’ve laid the groundwork for real progress in Hardin County during my first term,” said Taul. “I ask for the privilege of finishing the job I started and humbly ask for your vote in the 2026 election.”
