Keith Taul For Hardin County Judge Executive - Letter To Editor Jim Weise

In 2008, Daniel London and Ron Lewis deliberately tried to rig an election. London sent his first wife to file Lewis’ withdrawal paperwork and add London’s name as candidate for Congress. Why didn’t they go themselves? The level of deceitful planning and poor judgment was obvious.

Brett Guthrie was there to file when the caper went down. News got out and London withdrew.

Lewis issued a public apology stating he had “no excuses” for how he chose to manage his retirement announcement.

London followed publicly: “I think it’s better that I withdraw and wait until another time to pursue my political career.”

London wants a political career so badly, what wouldn’t he do? Attempting to seal a Congressional seat is serious and should ruin any hope of a political career. Google Daniel London Kentucky 2008.

In 2017, London was appointed as deputy judge-executive. In a News-Enterprise article on Nov. 17, 2019, London announced his plans to run for JE and admitted an addiction to pornography and other strange things.

Now London is publicly supporting Democrats and thumbing his nose at the local GOP and its work to recruit and support candidates. Last July, I sent him an invitation via email to attend a GOP meeting. In his reply (which I can provide), he basically said he didn’t need to attend because he already had enough Republican support and he did not want “to be associated with candidates … the party is pushing.” Some of these GOP candidates are unopposed in the primary and will run against London’s Democrat friends in November. Finally, he wrote “And frankly if my not attending a party meeting here or there is going to cost me the race, then I am screwed to begin with.”

I donated to London before I realized the depth of his deception and disrespect for the GOP. I truly regret donating to London and like others I now am supporting Keith Taul for JE. I believe London’s judgment is flawed and he cannot be trusted.
